Mirrors

We all have broken mirrors,

But that doesn’t mean talk slow.

If you break a mirror, everyone will know.

Two mirrors will lie, four mirrors will hope;

No mirror is ever clean no matter how much soap.

We all have broken mirrors.

If the world was a mirror we’d all be looking down.

If you saw that mirror, you’d lose your heart and drown.

Six mirrors will shine, eight mirrors will sink;

One mirror will be grey and stained with black ink.

We all have broken mirrors. They don’t reflect, they just are.

Who we thought we’d be.
